Richie McCawWe’re incredibly proud to have Richie McCaw standing beside us as an Uplift In Kind Ambassador and pilot. Known for his leadership on the rugby field, Richie brings that same spirit of humility, strength, and heart to our skies. Richie’s belief in what we do and his willingness to roll up his sleeves and be part of it means the world to us. With Richie on board, we’re not just flying higher – we’re flying with purpose.
As his very first act as an ambassador, Richie took to the skies with a group of local Wānaka teens, giving them a flight they’ll never forget. Soaring above the Southern Alps, Richie shared stories, laughter, and a sense of adventure that turned an ordinary day into something truly extraordinary. For these young people, it wasn’t just about the view, it was about being seen, heard, and celebrated.
Richie’s presence brought a special kind of magic to the experience – the kind that stays with you long after touch down.
